On August 17, 2019, workers of a church in Liaoyuan, Jilin gave funds to two local poor families.
Led by the clergyman Wang Xiyou, a team from the Nanzhan Church in Dongfeng county paid a visit to two families in Yangmulin Town and Erlong Village. The families expressed their gratitude and were moved by the good deeds.
The church has placed poverty allieviation at the core of its ministry. Its social service workers are committed to visiting the underclass and aiding them.
