Jilin Church Ordains Deacons

On July 5, 2019, the Nanzhan Church in Jilin province held its deacons' graduation and ordination ceremony. 

Rev. Liu Xuesong, senior pastor of the church in Dongfeng County, Liaoyuan spoke from Isaiah 6:1-8 and exhorted the graduates of the two-year deacon training program to be faithful and wise servants.

After the sermon, the pastor asked the deacons some questions and laid hands on them. The congregation prayed for them and the representative of the church's deacon's committee laid wreaths of flowers for them.

Later, the graduation ceremony of deacon's training program was conducted for the nine graduates. The pastor presided over their commissioning service and gave a benediction for the whole congregation.
