On December 5, 2017, the Good Samaritan Charity Ministry of Wangfangdian Church visited 13 poor families living in the Wenlan area, Dalian, Liaoning.
One of the families is Christian. Liu Fei, the sole wage earner of the family, works as a night guard in a factory, suffering from emphysema. His wife is blind due to complications from diabetes and his son had to drop out of school after graduation from middle school. When the ministry workers gave oil and rice to the family they were delighted and grateful.
Another couple lives in a bungalow with less than 20 square meters. They were stripped of their property after Tang Hu suffered two broken legs in an accident and his wife had a cerebral hemorrhage and was paralyzed. Cerebral thrombus and then throat cancer attacked Tang.
However, they became Christians after the series of trials. They are regular churchgoers and active in small group meetings. Seeing the visitors, they burst into tears and thanked God for not forgetting them.
