On August 10, the staff of Ji'an Gospel Church visited a Miao Church situated in a suburb of Ji'an, Jiangxi.

The Miao people live in fairly poor conditions in Huqiu Village, Qingyuan District. Families reside in thatched huts and some of the houses have collapsed. The contrast of the Miao's adobe houses and the local villagers' residential buildings is quite striking.

When it came to the Sunday service, men and women sat apart, so sister Chen from Gospel Church encouraged the believers to start family worship. After the service, the only undergraduate in the village gave a grateful testimony.

Since 2010, Gospel Church has united Christians from other places to give educational support to the Miao students, including the college student.

The staff of 22 persons distributed handcraft material to the girls and led the boys in games. Receiving milk and bread, the children seemed very happy.

In the early 1990s, the Miao believers in Guizhou move to Jiangxi to make a living because they didn't have enough food. With no fixed residence, they live at the bottom of society without a Hukou registration. However, they have beautiful voices to praise the Lord.
