Many Bible verses demonstrate that God is with us.
Joseph was sold to Egypt and put in prison, but God promised to stay with Joseph and made him prosperous.
Our faith is prone to be shaken by difficulties and we doubt whether God is with us when facing adversity. Does God know my difficulty? Does He still love me? You may hold that God loved me, but he doesn't at present.
God promised Joshua, "No one will be able to stand against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you." (Joshua 1:5) God's presence is not only for certain prophets or great men, but for all of his children.
In times of trouble and adversity, meditate on the seven following Bible passages to think about God's presence and gain heavenly power.
Joshua 1:9 "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go."
Psalm 121:6-8
"The sun will not harm you by day,
nor the moon by night.
The Lord will keep you from all harm-
he will watch over your life;
the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.
Psalm 139:2-6
You know when I sit and when I rise;
you perceive my thoughts from afar.
You discern my going out and my lying down;
you are familiar with all my ways.
Before a word is on my tongue you, Lord, know it completely.
You hem me in behind and before,
and you lay your hand upon me.
Such knowledge is too wonderful for me,
too lofty for me to attain.
Isaiah 41:10
So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
John 15:7 If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.
Matthew 18:20 "For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them."
Matthew 28:20 "... and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
