It is written in the book of Mark, "People were bringing little children to Jesus for him to place his hands on them, but the disciples rebuked them. When Jesus saw this, he was indignant. He said to them, 'Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.' (Mark 10:13-15)"

Jesus was righteously angry at least twice according to the Four Gospels. One Passover, Jesus entered Jerusalem and drove out all who were buying and selling there in the temple. The above verses recorded the second time He was anger; when his disciples prevented children from coming to him.

His welcome of children shows that children growing up healthy is extremely important to society and families, as the Bible says, "Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him. (Psalm 127:3)"

Apart from focusing on the physical health of children, we need to give them a Biblical education.

Below are ten Bible passages Christian parents can learn with their children. Train your children in the way they should go, and when they are old they will not turn from it. (Proverbs 22:6)

1. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. (Deuteronomy 6:5)

2. So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God. (1 Corinthians 10:31)

3. Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong. Do everything in love. (1 Corinthians 16:13-14)

4. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you. (Ephesians 4:32)

5. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. (Galatians 5:22-23)

6. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6-7)

7. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. (Proverbs 3:5-6)

8. No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it. (1 Corinthians 10:13)

9. Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies. (1 Corinthians 6:19-20)

10. Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. (Ephesians 4:29)
