The older we get, the more we realize that each of us is fighting against a battle of our own. This is true to all Christians.
These problems or battles may include loss of a loved one in death, having hard time coping up ins school or work, taking care of aging parents, problems with parents, children, facing temptations of all kinds, dealing with illness, dealing with financial crisis in the family and whatever it may be, still many of us are facing troubles.
However, the good thing about this is we can be sure that we are not the only ones fighting against this problems. Even if everyone fails us and leave us, there is only one who is always and has been around ever since ready to comfort us and to help us fight against these unending problems; God.
Job 14:1 Man that is born of a woman is of few days and full of trouble.
Troubles will come. Yes. Even if we are all faithful Christians, troubles and battles are always there. In Job 14:1 it teaches us this statement. "Man who is born of woman is few of days and full of trouble." Reading it, it only means we are all equal to that passage, there is no exception.
Due to this physical world, all of our problems are mostly brought by sins and temptations. As faithful Christians, we must recognize this and deal with those problems as Christians.
Romans 8:28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
We as Christians should realize that the world was created by God in order to accomplish His purpose in our lives and we must learn to trust only in Him and believe that the circumstances we are facing will result to goodness.
2 Timothy 3:12 In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted,
God even promised that we will have troubles because we are Christians. It's like it is part of being a Christian. God did not said that because we are Christians, we are already expected to receive only good things. Rather, he let us face the problem to test our faith and believe in Him. He wants us to believe Him and trust Him with our whole life. Facing problems will be lighter if we have God who can comfort us.
In this 2 Corinthians 4, The Holy Bible tells us about the Present Weakness, troubles, problems in life and Resurrection Life in the future with Faith in God.
"Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal."
