Christians were mobilized to participate in donations, as a sudden heavy rain in Yangxie Town, Shangzhou District, Shangluo City, Shaanxi Province, caused a flash flood, affecting several villages on July 19.
Elder Wang Minxia, chairman and president of the district CC&TSPM, braved the heavy rain and delivered over a thousand pieces of clothing and bedding to the disaster area on July 29, along with a donation of 10,000 yuan, said Shaanxi CC&TSPM.
The district CC&TSPM will continue to monitor the progress of the disaster relief, insisting in helping the affected compatriots rebuild their homes.
