Churches in Jiangsu, Fujian, and Beijing announced the resumptions of their onsite services in late July.
Enyi Gathering Site affiliated with Dongyuan Church in Xuzhou, Jiangsu Province, issued a notice on WeChat on July 19, saying it would restart two Sunday services with weekday gatherings still suspended while doing a good job in epidemic prevention and control.
Chengguan Church in Pingtan, Fuzhou, Fujian Province, said on July 21 that face-to-face gatherings are resumed from that day on with Sunday services hosted in person and online simultaneously.
The next day, Wuxi Church in Jiangsu released an announcement about the resumption of in-person Sunday services and weekday gatherings beginning July 24, reminding churchgoers to worship God in the later three Sunday services out of four as the first one is attended by too many believers.
Chongwenmen Church in Beijing stated that it would resume Sunday services starting this week with the number of sessions and the starting time remaining unchanged, urging worshippers to book their places via WeChat with real names.
