The Liaoyang Municipal CC&TSPM of China's northeastern Liaoning Province conducted a four-day training class for pastors in the city.
On October 13, 2020, more than 120 church leaders and pastors attended the class in Liaoyang Church, in China’s northeastern Liaoning Province.
Before the training, conducted by the Liaoyang CC&TSPM (Christian Council&Three-Self Patriotic Movement), all participants attended the flag-raising ceremony at the church square.
On the first day, Pastor Wang Runtao, president of the Liaoyang CC&TSPM, gave lectures on church management in the morning and afternoon. Combining with the reality of the church and China's national conditions, he cited Bible verses to explain church management in a simple way.
Next, lawyers recommended by the Liaoning Provincial Religious Management Department explained legal policies, and members from Liaoyang CC&TSPM also gave lectures.
The pastors of some township churches needed to change buses three times to attend the meeting, setting off from home at 6 o'clock in the morning. All the attendees listened to the lectures quietly, taking notes carefully.
