Huai’an Church in China’s coastal-eastern Jiangsu Province gave financial gifts to twelve poor families on September 18.
A team from the church visited Meichang Village, Nanchenji Town, Huaiyin District. The team included two pastors who brought money and food to the villagers, according to the church.
Families received 200 yuan each, and were given cooking oil and mooncakes, traditionally eaten during the upcoming Mid-Autumn Festival that falls in early October.
