Last Saturday, the Guizhou Three-Self Patriotic Movement (TSPM) donated money to local persons with financial difficulties to help them resume work.
A total of 40,000 yuan was given to people in Xianshan Community and Huilong Village in Wuchuan Gelao and Miao Autonomous County in Zunyi, according to CCC&TSPM.
On March 31, the Guizhou CC&TSPM held a mobilization meeting against poverty which aims to eradicate poverty in 90 days.
President Xi said in early March that "lifting all rural residents living below the current poverty line out of poverty by 2020" must be fulfilled on time.
