On November 16, 2018, the Shenyang China Christian Council (CCC) & Three-self Patriotic Movement (TSPM) of Jilin province donated 1 million yuan to the city's general benevolence association.
According to the provincial CCC & TSPM, the donations were raised during the church's 2017 "Love 365" campaign that appealed to local Christians to donate one yuan every day. The funds will be used to aid financially disadvantaged groups who suffer from serious illnesses.
Started in 2016, the donation campaign received 1.4 million yuan that was given to 240 poor students and their families.
Apart from donations, the Shenyang CCC & TSPM carries out another large-scale charity event, a blood drive at Easter.
