From September 7 to 9, 2018, many church social care projects were launched in Tencent's September 9th Campaign, helping the disabled and the elderly, and assisting in efforts for poverty alleviation and drug rehabilitation.

The "9.9 Charities Day" is China's first Internet charity day, first initiated by Tencent Holdings together with public welfare organizations, famous businesses, and celebrities on September 7, 2015. It aims to mobilizing Chinese netizens to be a part of charity efforts through the Internet. Tencent promises to donate the equivalent amount of the donations during the three-day event to support charity projects.

This year, Sichuan Luzhou Church launched a project that provides training for volunteers for left-behind groups and gives supplies to lonely elderly people and empty nesters. As the present time, it has collected about 1.32 million yuan, very close to the target sum of around 1.6 million yuan.

"Home of the Reed", a civil charity organization based in Zhenjiang, has distributed 500 wheelchairs in Zhenjiang and instructed wheelchair users and their families how to use the tool. The project also aims to purchase 80 tailored wheelchairs.

Founded in Fuzhou in 2000, Mercy Field Home that has housed approximately 400 underprivileged children released two events dedicated to building a job training platform for handicapped children and providing study for prisoners' children.

A charity relief fund initiated by the Nanchong TSPM of Sichuan has helped 1,790 patients in the last four years. It was successful with the fundraising efforts it has done that would be used for medical relief and free clinics.
