On September 24, 2016, ten local choirs from seven districts of Haerbin compete in the fourth chorus contest initiated by the city's CCC&TSPM.

Teacher Li Hongbin encourages the choirs to live a life of praise by citing David, who praised God seven times a day,  the praise in prison done Paul and Silas and the praising done by the early church, favored by all the people in the sermon.

CCC&TSPM states that the contest has four awards and six pastors and teachers are the judges. Each of the choirs were awarded a prize.
