Christian singer JJ Lin joined in a charity campaign that urged people to care about elderly people on September 21, the World Alzheimer’s Day.
The Singaporean posted on China’s Tweet, Weibo,“‘Even though I forget the world, I remember to love you.’ #921 World Alzheimer’s Day# Join with me in# Reproduced Memory of Happy Sea Horse# philanthropy campaign.”
The campaign was launched by the Shanghai Charity Foundation
“Let’s care about elderly people around us. Don’t let us be familiar strangers to the elderly. When they lose their memories, let’s take them home with love!” He added.
Alzheimer’s disease(AD) is one of the most common dementia and chronic diseases among the elderly. As of 2019, there were more than ten million patients with AD in China, which had the greatest population of people with AD.
