Starting each work day with friends who you can pray together with is an important element to help develop close relationship not just to get closer with your friends but also with God. The time spent gives us opportunity to remind our friends and ourselves of related Bible verses and discuss about it.
Sharing Time with God's Words
It is beneficial to share time in God's words. Jesus encouraged his disciples in Matthew 18:19-20 to pray together. "I promise that when any two of you on earth agree about something you are praying for, my Father in heaven will do it for you. Whenever two or three of you come together in my name, I am there with you"
In Hebrews 10:25, we are also encouraged to make fellowship as our priority. We are also encouraged to help each other in 1 Thessalonians 5:11 as we prepare for the Lord's coming.
Jesus may went off by himself to pray but he also had regular fellowship with his disciples and teaching them with God's words. Jesus knew the importance of gathering in the house of God to study Scriptures with other people.
You can try reaching out your friends who prioritize praying and invite them so you can discuss Bible verses together and pray together. Emailing them some Bible reading plan and even texting them with devotional prayer everyday can be considered as exchange of prayer. This is not only beneficial to you but also to your friend.
