God said himself that he will never leave us nor forsake us. This can be read on Hebrews 13:5.
What are your thoughts when you know that God won't leave us nor forsake us? Do you turn to what God says or turn to your own fears? Are you simply repeating what God said or are you learning to truly hear Him and respond to what He said?
When God said "I will never leave you nor forsake you," we can boldly say "The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?" (Hebrews 13:5-6)
God said that He will never leave us, not for any reason; not our sins, our selfishness, stubbornness and any negative things we have.
God said that He will never forsake us. But sometimes when we have difficulties and when there is a difficulty in life and find no signs from God, we end up questioning if God really is there for us. Do you still need God's assurance?
Remember that God is going to do exceptional thing during the times that we are not expecting or even prepared for. God's assurance is not an assurance coming from a mere human who usually breaks his promises. Remember that His assurance is forever and that it gives us strength as we know there is always someone who loves us, guides us and will protect us from all the bad things we experience. He will never let us down.
