We all know that there is always a time to everything. As per Ecclesiastes 3:7, "there is a time to keep silent and a time to speak."
Being silent in important times is a struggle but we can have this as our virtue. The Holy Bible acclaims those who can keep quiet have peace and listen.
Read these following Bible verses to balance silence and sound in our mouth, hearts and soul:
Proverbs 17:27-28
"The one who has knowledge uses words with restraint, and whoever has understanding is even-tempered. Even fools are thought wise if they keep silent, and discerning if they hold their tongues."
2 Corinthians 10:1-2
"By the humility and gentleness of Christ, I appeal to you-I, Paul, who am "timid" when face to face with you, but "bold" toward you when away! I beg you that when I come I may not have to be as bold as I expect to be toward some people who think that we live by the standards of this world."
Mark 16:15
"He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation."
1 Timothy 1:7
"They want to be teachers of the law, but they do not know what they are talking about or what they so confidently affirm."
James 1:19
"My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry."
