Jeremy Lin does not only entertain fans for his amazing guarding tactics for Charlotte Hornets but he is one of the famous persona in basketball arena to inspired 2,600 students in North Carolina to stop bullying.
Jeremy posted on his official Twitter account his thanks to students who take a stand against bullying.

Jeremy Lin started a reading challenge in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg School District. He encourages student to not just read books Lin written and other celebrities and writers about bullying but to earn points by taking quizzes about the topic “bullying”.
The more students read, the more they earn a chance to win a visit from Jeremy Lin himself.
According to the Newsela, an online community that helps students develop their reading as well as comprehension skills by reading some nonfiction articles. And one of the articles written was about Lin’s experiences with bullying.
"My lesson that I learned, and if there is anything I can pass on to you guys, is a lot of times bullies bully other people because of insecurities they have in themselves. Don't let anyone else tell you who you are or what you can or can't do," he advised. "Definitely look inside yourself, have confidence in yourself, believe in yourself and understand what makes you such a unique and special person. Everybody has different and really cool characteristics and talents,”according to the article written as said by Lin.
Lin even added to the article that people will say negative about an individual and they are just trying to get on his head. According to him, the best thing to do is to turn that negative energy to a positive one and he encourages everyone to fuel themselves and motivate themselves without reacting towards anger.
