On November 10, the Shanghai International Choral League (SICL) hosted a concert featuring a selection of classical large-scale choral and orchestral works at Shanghai Oriental Art Center’s Concert Hall.

The concert was conducted by Mr. Wang Jin, a student of Professor Ma Geshun, a prominent figure in Chinese sacred music conducting, and Mr. Ying Hao, the current president of the SICL. The performance featured the SICL and its affiliated orchestra, the Shanghai Baroque Soloists and Orchestra, the Shanghai Baige Chamber Choir, the Shanghai Yangpu District Children's Palace Choir, and the Shanghai Hao Xiaonan Children's Choir.

The concert presented ten iconic works by ten composers spanning the Baroque period to the 20th century, divided into two parts. Most of the pieces were in German, with a few in Latin and English, including compositions by renowned Christian composers, such as Johann Sebastian Bach, George Frideric Handel, Joseph Haydn, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, and Ludwig van Beethoven.
