A review meeting on the effectiveness of the rectification of the church atmosphere was held at a church in Sichuan Province.
Pastoral workers from churches and CC&TSPMs in Dazhou and Bazhong held a meeting at Gospel Church in Bazhou District, Bazhong City, on July 16, said the CCC&TSPM. Prior to the meeting, staff workers from both regions conducted focused visits and reviews of grassroots churches.
At the meeting, Chairman Li Shijun of Bazhong TSPM, on behalf of Bazhong Churches, and Vice Chairman Yang Zhiyong of Dazhou TSPM, on behalf of Dazhou Churches, respectively, shared the progress and achievements of the "Strictly Governing the Church, Promoting Reform through Cases" initiative.
Rev. Duan Tao, vice chairman and vice president of Sichuan CC&TSPM as well as chairman of Dazhou TSPM, emphasized the importance of cherishing and utilizing this education and rectification activity, particularly the cross-inspection results between the two cities. He stressed the need to publicize the principles of strict church governance and standardized management to congregants through sermons.
