Beijing CC&TSPM Elects New Leadership

A new committee, executive committee, board of supervisors, and leadership team for Beijing CC&TSPM were elected.

The 11th Beijing Christianity Conference was held in Beijing on June 26-28, reviewing and approving the work reports of the tenth Beijing Christian Three-Self Patriotic Movement Committee and the eighth Beijing Christian Council, as well as the work reports of the board of supervisors, reported Beijing CC&TSPM.

Rev. Wu Weiqing was elected as the eleventh chairman of Beijing TSPM, Li Xiaojing as vice chairman and secretary general, Rev. Liu Cuimin as the ninth president of Beijing Christian Council, Li Hua as vice president and general secretary, and Rev. Du Fengying as the ninth chairman of the Board of Supervisors of Beijing Christian Council.

Amendments were made to the "Constitution of the Beijing Christian Three-Self Patriotic Movement Committee" and the "Constitution of the Beijing Christian Council."

Rev. Wu Wei, president of the China Christian Council, congratulated the holding of the assembly on behalf of CCC&TSPM, with other congratulations from leaders of the Beijing Buddhist Association, Beijing Taoist Association, Beijing Islamic Association, and Beijing Patriotic Catholic Association.

Over 240 representatives from diverse churches,  Yanjing Theological Seminary, and the Beijing YMCA and YWCA, attended the meeting.
