The completion of a new building at a gathering site in northeast China's Liaoning Province was celebrated.
On April 15, Tiexi Meeting Point in Taizihe District, Liaoyang City, held a worship service with a sermon from Rev. Wang Runtao, president of the Liaoyang Municipal Christian Council.
He shared that the Lord Jesus Christ was crucified for people's sins that they could never pay for, so they must live for Him because they have received His grace of redemption. He said that only by dedicating himself to the Lord and believing in the only true God could one enter the kingdom of heaven.
During the ceremony, Wang Yuzhen, the head of the church, introduced God's protection and supply during the period of construction and added that believers donated money and invested effort in building up the new church.
It was awarded the title of "Civilized and Harmonious Religious Site" by the United Front Work Department of the Liaoyang Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China and the Municipal Ethnic and Religious Affairs Bureau.
Its choir and the choir of Liaoyang Church presented hymns, with dances and songs from other groups.
The dedication ceremony was attended by representatives from more than 20 churches in Liaoyang City.
