A church in China's southeastern coastal Guangdong Province celebrated the completion of its new main building.
Yunlu Church in Jiedong District, Jieyang City held a worship service for its reconstruction on December 10, with about 500 people participating in, according to Guangdong CC&TSPM.
Lin Lifen, the pastor of the church, hosted the service, making a report on the construction of the new church.
Rev. Xu Jieping, president of Guangdong Union Theological Seminary and chairman and president of Jieyang CC&TSPM, preached a sermon titled "A Church That Pleases the Lord".
As a village church located at the border of Chaozhou and Jieyang cities, the original church buildings have fallen into disrepair, lacking money to rebuild. With intercession and the support of all parties, the council members and church staff made donations for the rebuilding which testified to the grace of God.
