Two Jiangsu churches announced the resumptions of face-to-face services due to the de-escalation of COVID-19.
Wuxi International Church on March 2 said on its official WeChat account that five Sunday services and gatherings on Wednesday and Friday evenings had resumed with the number of worshippers limited to no more than 50. Churchgoers are reminded to take an admission pass and arrive at the venue ten minutes before the worship begins, otherwise, they can’t enter the sanctuary.
The next day, Jinsha Church in Tongzhou District, Nantong City, released a notice, stating that believers could attend Sunday services and all weekday gatherings from that day forth following the COVID-19 protocols, including showing their health and itinerary code, registering, and having their temperature measured.
The notice also declared that those who have lived in or come from the key pandemic areas or abroad can not attend any gatherings, but those who have completed 14-day home quarantine with negative nucleic acid test results conducted within 14 days are allowed to enter.
