On August 9, 2020, 13 workers in Shandong churches were ordained.
The ordination, held in the subordinate church of the Linyi CC&TSPM, was presided over by Pastor Zhang Jianshun, deputy president of Shandong CC and director-general of Linyi CC&TSPM.
After the prayer, Pastor Wang Mengkun, secretary-general of the provincial CC, gave a sermon based on the Gospel of John with the theme of "Being a True Disciple of Jesus Christ". He exhorted the staff who were about to be ordained and the participants present here, to earnestly abide by the Lord's words, to love each other, to serve diligently, and be fruitful.
Then Pastor Liu Zongchang, member of the standing committee of the provincial CC&TSPM and president of Linyi CC, named out the co-workers who were about to be ordained. Pastor Ren Xianmin, a consultant for Shandong CC&TSPM, encouraged and gave the oath questions for each of them as they were ordained.
Afterward, pastors present laid hands on the heads of the 13 co-workers who were ordained in turn. Jiao Hongyan, a female co-worker of the High-tech Zone was ordained as a pastor; the other twelve male co-workers were ordained as elders. They were presented Bibles and robes.
