Hangzhou Chongyi Church in China’s coastal-eastern Zhejiang Province, which reopened in early June, began a catechism course for persons who would like to be baptized on August 9.
The course will be held on Sunday evenings of August four times.
The megachurch also requested that believers pray for those candidates and pastors who teach the catechism lessons.
The baptismal registration period was in July and the requirements included attending services in this church for more than one year, having a clear understanding of salvation, and having recommendations to join the church.
It holds four Sunday services, but other weekly gatherings remain suspended.
