On Monday, a registered church located in Tongda Town, Lujiang County, Hefei, in China's central Anhui Province, had its cross removed.
In a picture shared by a local source, a crane pulled down the cross of Shen’en Church (or God’s Grace Church) in the morning. The church was dedicated in February 2018.
In April, three crosses atop churches in Anhui were also removed by local authorities. The cross removal campaign in the province started in early January, suddenly ended due to the COVID-19 crisis, but resumed in early March.
