Last Sunday the congregation of Dalian Fengshou Lu Church, Liaoning joined the first Sunday service with the ecumenical church.
The hall was filled with crowds in the two morning services.
After the choir offered a hymn, Elder Li Xuqing of the church in Changhai County, Dalian led the congregation to read 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18.
She shared her testimony in that she suffered from fatal diseases twice and they were deemed incurable by Chinese and foreign doctors. She prayed continually and eventually was healed. She exhorted the participants to be steadfast in faith, joyful always, and give thanks in all circumstances. Elder Li quoted the classics and gave a humorous sermon, winning the applause from the congregation. Some believers even attended the two consecutive services.
Some people responded to the sinners' prayer and made decisions to accept Jesus as Lord.
