On the occasion of the traditional festival of China, the Double Ninth which falls on September 7 this year, Wuhan Shengguang Church held a worship service on the morning of September 29, 2019.
According to the church, Brother Liang Shoubin preached a message entitled, "When You are Old". He said that when people become elderly, they should not look down on their positions before God. They should become faithful watchmen of God, keeping watch for the church and the family, and become glorious blessings. After the sermon, the junior and senior choirs sang the songs, "Respecting the Old " and "Providing the Best Time to the Lord" respectively.
Then, the oldest person of 2019 in the church, 104-year-old Sister Sun Yuqing, took the stage to greet the brothers and sisters and testified for the Lord. In addition, two 91 year-olds, and 300 brothers and sisters aged between 65 and 90 years, also came and joined the celebrations. The church then gave them the festive blessing.
