Shaanxi Holds Opening Ceremony for Pastoral Training

On September 6, 2019, the Shaanxi Christian Council & Three-Self Patriotic Movement (CC&TSPM) and Shaanxi Bible School held an opening ceremony for the one-year pastoral training program.

According to the official website of Shaanxi Christianity, Rev. Chen Dingliang, vice-president of Shaanxi Bible School, introduced the basic information for the 56 students who enrolled in the 30th full-time training program for pastoral volunteers. 

The school's President Wang Hong recalled the past hardships in starting and the achievements of the training program for pastoral volunteers which began in 1983. She stressed that the goal of the program was to train high-quality pastors for local churches in Northwest China. 

Wang Youjun, a representative of the students, said that they would cherish the opportunity to receive equipping and knowledge to become high-quality pastors. 

Rev. Wang Jun, president & chairman of Shaanxi CC&TSPM, exhorted the students to study hard, read extensively, and think diligently.
