On August 8, 2019, Guangxi Emmanuel Chapel launched a project to visit empty nesters at a local community.
According to the official website of Guangxi Christian Council & Three-Self Patriotic Movement (CC&TSPM), a 12-person team from the megachurch visited 30 families of lonely elderly people and empty nesters, giving them rice and oil as gifts.
Dedicated in October 2016, the chapel sits at the offices of Guangxi CC&TSPM with a floor area of 5461 square meters (1.3 acres). Considered the biggest church in Guangxi, it can seat 2,500 people.
