During the 2019 Spring Festival, a large Christian nursing home in Northeast China sent clothes to and prepared dishes for its elderly residents as well as for other Christians and non-Christians.
Covering an area of 49 acres with 243 beds, the Red Cross Nursing Home in Qitaihe, Heilongjiang, founded in 2001, has Christian residents who account for 80% of the total. Led by Elder Tian Huaiyan, it serves seniors, orphans, and disabled people with medical and elderly care.
On Feb. 11, 2019, the staff distributed gifts to them given by the local church.
