A doctor from Hunan Wangwang Hospital gave a cancer prevention lecture in the Changsha Church Christianity (or Chengbei Church), the largest modern church in Hunan.
The church's official website reported that Sister Yi Xi analyzed high-risk tumors among urbanites and gave an introduction of risk factors for common tumors and tumor prevention methods. She called on the congregation to live a healthy lifestyle physically and mentally, with a light diet, healthy bedtime, less stress, and being loving and tolerant.
Many churches in China carry out health lectures.
Dr. Duan Guangjun from the First People's Hospital of Kunshan was invited by the church in Kunshan, Jiangsu to deliver a keynote speech on the diagnosis and prevention of frequently-occurring diseases on May 30, 2017.
Beijing Congwenmen Church has held health lectures in the church and local communities for more than three years. The lectures are about prevention of diseases like coronary heart disease, diabetes, strokes, cervical spondylosis, osteoarthropathy, and cancer.
