On June 5, 2018, a ground-breaking ceremony for Zhu'en Church was held in Longgang Town, Wenzhou, Zhejiang.
The church was named by Bishop K.H.Ting who visited the former church in December 1990.
Founded in October 1984, the church started with fourteen Christian families who gathered at home. Two years later, a factory was purchased as the place of worship. A church building was built in 1990 and completed one year later.
As the number of the congregation increased, a larger church was needed. The congregation prepared for the new construction for two years.
With a floor space of 4,970 square meters (1.22 acres), the new church will cost 25-28 million yuan and be completed in two years.
