On Aug 20, 2017, 560 new believers were baptized into Christ in Wu'an Christian Church in north China's Hebei Province.
The church was specially decorated on that day to welcome the new brothers and sisters to be baptized. Persons in charge from different counties and townships promptly prepared the registration work for the baptism.
The ceremony was presided over by Elder Hao Shuqun, with the choir waiting to sing hymns as all pastors and elders entered the chapel. Pastor Liu Yuwen preached a sermon and then performed baptism by immersion while Elder Hao performed baptism by sprinkling.
After the ceremony, Pastor Li Xiuli gave a speech to greet the new believers.
Over 1,000 new and old believers had communion presided by Pastor Liu Yuwen after the ceremony.
At last, Elder Zhao Shuantai gave a thanksgiving prayer and Pastor Liu Yuwen pronounced the benediction.
