On July 12, 2017, Guangdong CCC ordained eight pastors in Jiangmen Church. About 300 people from local churches witnessed the event.
There are 40 churches and gatherings in Jiangmen, a hometown of overseas Chinese. Fourteen pastors and one elder serve in the city.
Rev. Lei Yuming, vice-chairman and secretary of Guangdong TSPM, encouraged the new pastors to love the Lord and be the model of believers and preachers following the Lord. Rev. Fan Hong'en, chairman of Guangdong CCC, exhorted them to handle the relationships with God, with the churches, and the world.
According to CCC&TSPM, the provincial CCC ordained four pastors including three women and one elder in Jiangmen Church in September 2009.
