Xialeng Christian Church in Nanning City, Guangxi recently held its dedication ceremony. Pastor Mei Shange, secretary-general of the city's CCC/TSPM, presided over the ceremony while Elder Wei Junman, deputy chairman of the TSPM Committee of Nanning, led the prayer. Pastor Li Yanfeng from the CCC/TSPM of Guangxi gave the sermon.
According to an article on the website of the CCC/TSPM of Guangxi, the church started spreading the Gospel in 1986. It originally worshipped in a believer's house, but it purchased a house of its own in 1994. Many years have passed since then and the house of Xialeng Church became shabby. It started preparations for a new church building in 2013 and began construction in May 2014. The new church building covers an area of 200㎡ and received its completion acceptance on July 22, 2016. The total expense, including construction and decoration, was 305,000 yuan (US $44,872).
