Baotou Church Holds Prayer Meeting for Peace, North China

Simon Church of Donghe District held a prayer meeting for peace on August 20, praying for the three-day AVIC Flight Conference and the domestic areas seriously affected by the flood, as reported by the district's CCC&TSPM of Baotou.

During the meeting, a music performance was done by the light music brand and brass band from five local churches. The congregation prayed to God to give peace and harmony, as well as to bless the country prosperous and people in peace.

According to Northnews, the 2016 flight conference was held at the civil airport of Baotou on August 19 to 21, attracting general aircraft manufacturers, navigation enterprises and core institutions for nagivation at home and overseas.

The statistics showed that the tourism income reached 880 million yuan from about 587,000 tourists during the conference.
