The congregations of Tangshan Church, Hebei, meditated on the message of Evidence of Rebirth Jun 17th during the Sunday Service.
The speaker, Brother Chen ask the believers to think about the evidence of their rebirth, and telling them then that the evidence should be found in the Word of God.
Firstly Chen explained that the first step and the most important thing for Christians is Rebirth, which reborn fro God. A become a child of B because B give birth to A.
Then what kind of evidence can we find from the person who’re claimed to be reborn.
“Do righteousness” is the No.1 point. Chen recited 1John2.29 and stressed that believers should rely on Jesus Christ and only By Him one is credited righteousness.
“Sin no more,” the second point, explained Chen that as said in the Bible 1John3.9， Whosoever is begotten of God doeth no sin, because his seed abideth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is begotten of God.
It is impossible that a believer do not sin. While when there is a tendency of crime, something is reflected from your attitude to that tendency.
“Be Loving” is the third trait of the reborn Christian， just like the Scripture ”Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is begotten of God, and knoweth God.”(1John4.7)
“Jesus is Christ,”confession of this truth is the fourth feature of Christians. It take nothing but faith to confess. But the faith is not come from man but from Jesus Christ, as said in the Scripture “Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is begotten of God: and whosoever loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him. (1John5.1)”
