On January 27, 2016, Meitian Church held the dedication ceremony in Huarong County, Yueyang, Hunan. Over 200 attendees including more than 60 church representatives, believers and government officials witnessed the moment.
At the beginning, Meitian Church bought a classroom of a primary school as the original gathering place which could only accommodate 30 people. However, the surrounding villagers occupied the church illegally. Later the local authorities coordinated with the villagers several times and eventually solved the problem.
Under the special condition, although in shortage of funds Meitian Church reconstructed its church building quickly and completed it within 3 months. The new church covers 1200 square meters with the construction area of 700 square meters.
