Rev. Liu Cuimin, the senior pastor of Congwenmen Church recalled and counted big events in 2015 in the New Year Praying Worship, Beijing. They are as belows:
Church activities: planting churches and converting believers, including Shepherd By Age Group, evangelistic rallies, prayer meetings, retired volunteer tea parties and teenager summer camps.
Social service: the church held lectures about health, church members visited seniors and disabled people of communities; participated in public planting in the spring; held the Children Carnival with communities on Children's Day; attended the "Stall Tea" Culture Festival organized by Jianguomen Street on behalf of Suzhou Community.
Before the college entrance examination in June, the church invited teachers to provide counselling for the students belonging to the church.
Hospital ministry: the church got the permission to visit patients in the hospital for it co-operated with Peking Union Medical College Hospital.
Donation and aiding poor children: the church has aided 20 poor students of Mingguang, Anhui since 2010. The donation has reached up to 370,000 RMB until 2015. It helped 8 poor undergraduates who were minorities from Yanqing from 2011 to 2014 and donated 171,600 RMB to them in total.
In the end Rev. Liu said those are some God's works which are just a drop of water in the sea and God's grace is endless to count. She hoped we could see the grace God gave us which is wide, long, high and deep through this drop.
