In the evening of Dec. 11 an unplugged Christmas Praise Worship "Eternal Love" was held in Beijing Chongwenmen Church. About 1000 believers and seekers joined the worship.
At 7pm that day, the cleargyman Duan Jinxin prayed for the praise worship. He explained, "it's called 'Unplugged' Praise Worship. You may feel strange that it's plugged? Actually 'unplugged' refers to consecrating from the world." Duan said the worship tonight was not worldly or just singing, but favored by God. Through praise, Christians can walk into the temple of God more deeply.
There were various performances, including the choral songs, male and female chorus and solo songs.
The "Eternal Love" Unplugged Musical Worship is the second activity in the Christmas month of Chongwenmen Church. The Taizé Prayer was held on Dec. 3. In the rest days before Christmas there are "Christ of Love" Biblical Play named "The Adoration of the Magi"(on Dec. 18) and "Hope of Love" Opera called "Everything "(on Dec. 25).
