Since 2012, every September the religions holds Charity Week activities. In Religious Charity Week of 2015, Dalian Christian Baihe Gospel Church assisted and aided three special groups: the disabled children, families with financial difficulties and poor undergraduates.
According to the news from Dalian Baihe Gospel Church, to carry out 2015 Religious Charity Week activity, the church had a church committee meeting, the Senior pastor Bai Zhenjian led the staff to study Notice about Religious Charity Week Activity given by Dalian Bureau of Religious Affairs and concluded the activity will hold around the basic principle "Helping the poor and aiding the difficulty".
After the meeting, the activity started on Sept. 17. In the morning Pastor Bai led the committee members of Baihe Church to "Baby Dolphin" Recovery Center for Autistic Children and comforted the autistic children, their parents and teachers, bringing the necessities such as rice, oil, noodles and 4000 yuan to the recovery center.
The following Sept. 18 to 20, the staff visited two families whose child suffers brain disorders and child has schizophrenia amd gave 600 yuan to each of them. The staff called everyone who is in the special list(provided by Dalian Xin District Bureau of Social Work) in need of help and assistance and visited 3 families with fanancial difficulties who all have elderly people sick in bed, giving them money and also praying for them and wishing them soon recovery.
Besides, the Baihe Church gave 4000 yuan as the living allowance to the five needed students in Dalian University of Technology, Dalian Maritime University and other surrounding universities.
