Despite undergoing rehab after a knee injury, Jeremy Lin posted to Facebook on Dec. 12, "Dream, set goals then chase them relentlessly!! Gonna set one of my rehab goals to get back to being as explosive and bouncy like I was when I was young lol. lost in your goals instead of where you're at now."

His status revealed optimism after his tumble led to a patella tendon rupture in his right knee in a match against the Indiana Pacers on Oct. 19.

On that day, the Christian basketball player encountered one of the greatest setbacks of his career. When his teammates asked about his condition, he said repeatedly, "I'm done, I'm done..." He immediately showed pain after moving his knee slightly and cried. The rupture might require several times more effort than normal people need to recover.

However, the Brooklyn Nets guard still believed that God is in control and is resolved to recover.

"I'm currently at Fortius in Vancouver. The Nets and I have decided on a really comprehensive rehab program that will have me out here for most of the season. The goal is to rebuild my body from the ground up, each and every muscle and joint, not just patella tendon. And, you know, I can't wait to get healthy and come back even stronger. Go Nets!Congrats on the boys great win in Dallas last night." Lin posted on Instagram on Dec. 1.

What was more, a moving story happened during the rehab. When he encountered a fan wearing a Harvard University 4 Jeremy Lin swingman jersey, the 29-year-old player asked to take a photo with him.

On Dec. 9, Lin gave thanks for the greetings from his friends and said that he was recovering well. "I love basketball and work hard for Him... for the glory of His name." Lin posted on Sina Microblog on Dec. 9.
