The next day he published on the platform that he was on the plane back to the United States.
In Beijing, the last stop of his tour, he went to climb the Great Wall. He happily commented, "One who fails to reach the Great Wall is not a hero," marking the perfect closure of the tour. During the trip, the Christian celebrity went to Taiwan and held an evangelistic rally attended by thousands of people in cooperation with local churches on July 21. Five days later, he hosted a charity basketball game with several Christian celebrities including Jay Chou, Vannessa Wu, and Blackie Chen Chien-chou. Later he was involved in activities in Shanghai and Beijing, discussing playing skills with his fans.
Lin has conducted an annual Asia tour since 2012. He usually visits mainland China and Taiwan in summer to conduct clinics, join festivals, and talk about his Christian faith.His Asia tour lasted two weeks in 2016.
