Both United States President Donald Trump and Pope Francis unite to show and call support to the sick baby, Charlie Gard.
Charlie Gard is a 10-month old baby who appeared to be suffering from mitochondrial disease. It was announced last week by his parents, Connie Yates and Chris Gard, that the courts had ruled that the condition of the baby was incurable and the only option left is to take his life support. The couple also shared the news saying that they were getting ready to say their final goodbyes.
However, Donald Trump tweeted and asked help from the United Kingdom, as well as from the Pope.
If we can help little #CharlieGard, as per our friends in the U.K. and the Pope, we would be delighted to do so.

On Sunday, the Vatican also released a statement saying that the Pope was following the case of the sick child, "with affection and sadness" and was close to his parents: "For this he prays that their wish to accompany and treat their child until the end isn't neglected."
"We do, sometimes, however, have to recognise the limitations of what can be done, while always acting humanely in the service of the sick person until the time of natural death occurs," the statement through Archbishop Vincenzo Paglia of the Pontifical Academy of Life said.
With the interventions of both Trump and the pontiff, experts revealed this makes the matter even worse. The family has been noted to be exhausted with all the legal options and that it was sure that doctors have affirmed that no treatment will be possible for treating the child's severe brain damage. Experts reportedly added that it may give false hopes to the couple.
CNN news confirmed that a Vatican-owned hospital in Rome offered to take Charlie Gard into its care. For now, both baby Charlie Gard's parents have yet to reveal their statement regarding this.
