The history of Tahe Gathering Point in Laobian District, Yingkou City, Liaoning Province, can be traced back to 1986.
When church activities resumed, believers gathered in a couple's house. In 1993, Christians transferred to another Christian couple's house, which was used for gatherings and later renamed and registered as Baimiaozi Gathering Point. On December 1, 2008, the gathering point relocated from Baimiaozi Village to Tahe Village, renamed Tahe Gathering Point. The church is commonly known as Tahe Church.
The current church is a two-story Chinese-style building, painted in white and gray. At the top, a cross shines brightly, and the words "God Loves the World" are prominently displayed on the front.
In recent years, Tahe Gathering Point has experienced significant growth. The number of believers has increased from a few to around 350, with four worship services held every Sunday.
In May 2023, the arrival of Pastor Cui Suzhi, a graduate of Northeast Theological Seminary, brought new vitality to the gathering point. Cui and her team have guided the congregants to deepen their understanding of faith through pastoral care, diverse activities, in-depth doctrinal explanations, and spiritual care. This has significantly enhanced the participation and sense of belonging among believers. More importantly, this gathering point has begun to play a positive role in the local community.
