Beichen Church Tea Ceremony Fellowship Holds Course Commencement

Students graduated from courses about the Scriptures and tea culture in a local church fellowship in Kunming, Yunnan. 

According to Beichen Church, on June 5, the start of Grain in Ear, the ninth of 24 solar terms in the Chinese calendar to signify the period of seed sowing, more than 70 believers came together to attend the commencement ceremony of the 18th session of the course about the Scriptures and tea culture. 

During the activity, students graduated from the program aims to understand the Christian faith with Chinese characteristics and cultivate a relaxed and elegant spiritual lifestyle. 

Founded in 2016, the fellowship has held 18 courses on tea ceremony. 

The church wrote, "The tea ceremony is an important ritual for the Chinese people to enjoy life and treat guests, which emphasizes the 'benevolence, righteousness, propriety, wisdom and fidelity' in Chinese culture. Through these actions, people learn to love each other."
